Thanks Sally, I will try them out my next cold go around. I'm willing to try most anything to get over it faster and prevent it.

I've had pretty good luck fighting (and preventing) colds with garlic, ever since I read the following advice: http://www.jongordon.com/031306Garlic.htm

Ginger, thyme, and honey (if you're not vegan) can be helpful too. You can brew a hot drink by boiling some water with honey, lemon juice, chopped garlic or garlic powder, ground ginger, and thyme (you might want to strain it before drinking!). It tastes terrible, but it seems to help.

Also zinc and of course vitamin C can be helpful.

I used to get colds all the time -- maybe four or more every year -- but the frequency is way down since I've learned these techniques for fighting them off. It's most effective right at the onset, but I think it helps speed up recovery, too. Good luck and feel better! (And don't sneeze on me!)

I don't know why Wordpress is saying this was published on August 31st, 'cause it's still well before midnight on Thursday the 30th. So when I say such and such happened in class yesterday, I mean the day before the 30th, despite what Wordpress says. Or something. So yeah.
